The comfort of having a friend like you my dearesr Dez, may be taken away, but the memories of our family friendship will endure forever.

Reading Des's year of birth and that of his passing with the dash in between doesn't convey the man that he was. This dash represents the challenging start to his life, the love for his siblings, his career in the coach and bus industry, his love of classic and steam vehicles and their restaurations. His love for cars, F1 racing, football and much more. It also represents the family man with his wife Victoria and their two daughters Darcy and Scarlett by his side. He was quite a reserved man very happy in the company of "his girls" and his pets. He was also a great cook and barbecue master, who could produce great meals especially Christmas dinners. He love of Christmas extended to his loving "Christmas Village display" with lights, skaters, etc... so pretty yo watch. His home in Cyprus was his "special place" over looking the sea, with its fragrant and colourful garden, his "pool house/man cave/bar". He loved life! His smile and his laugh were contagious. Fly high my friend 🙏
